Expansion:

In order to better service the requests and needs of its guests, the Pechanga tribe decided to expand its resort operations. Construction on its 400,000 square foot resort expansion began in October 2003 and was completed in November 2004.

Impacts of expansion on surrounding community:

• Addition of approximately 1,500 new jobs at Pechanga Resort & Casino (total number of employees to equal approximately 4,500 upon expansion completion)
• Employment of nearly 900 construction workers and 50 subcontractors during expansion
• Funds from gaming revenue channeled into sound wall barrier and road widening project on Pechanga Parkway (main thoroughfare to get to Pechanga Resort & Casino) and other city and county infrastructure projects
