Darren Carter

Darren Carter is an American stand-up comedian and actor known as “The Party Starter.” Born in Fresno, he has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years with a high-energy style that blends observational humor and physical comedy. He began performing at Los Angeles open mics in the 1990s and gained recognition for his dynamic stage presence, leading to appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Comedy Central Presents.

Carter has released comedy albums Shady Side and That Ginger’s Crazy, performs at major venues such as The Comedy Store and Laugh Factory, and continues to tour nationally. His recent highlights include the film Born Again and a Dry Bar Comedy special. He has also appeared in films such as Be Cool and Love Chronicles.
