As the head chef for Pechanga’s flagship restaurant – the AAA Four Diamond Great Oak Steakhouse – Andre Pinto epitomizes the combination of all-star culinary talent with exceptional kitchen management skills the resort prides itself on discovering and cultivating. The Brazilian native fell in love with the kitchen before coming to Massachusetts at 20, where he honed his ability to build and nurture a team.

Pinto brought those skills to Pechanga as the kitchen supervisor for Kelsey’s, the resort’s upscale American pub. He was promoted to head chef duties at Paisano’s, where his broad culinary skills, creative passion and dynamic ability to motivate and lead a team created an inviting, savory experience for guests of the upscale Italian restaurant. At Great Oak, Pinto continues to display the passion he has for his craft, which creates memorable dishes for his guests.
