John Caponera

John Caponera is a veteran comedian and actor from Chicago, launching his comedy career in 1979 after winning a local talent contest. Known as a comic's comic, he brings sharp impressions, expressive facial humor, and impeccable timing to the stage. One of his signature bits is an iconic impression of legendary broadcaster Harry Caray.

Caponera starred in his own NBC sitcom The Good Life alongside Drew Carey in 1994, and hosted Comedy Central's Jocks and ESPN's Talk II. His TV resume includes guest appearances on ER, Blossom, Tales from the Crypt, and The Tonight Show. He has also toured globally for more than four decades as a top club headliner and authored the book "A Life in Comedy."
